How do I install it?

I've included platform specific instructions within the readme that comes with The Beat Cop.

The Beat Cop isn't an extension, it's a Pure Data abstraction. A PD patch.

Wait, this was programmed IN Pure Data?

Why don't I see any knobs?

You need to install the "flatgui" extension.

I've included instructions in the readme file.

How do I use this thing?

The Beat Cop includes a comprehensive interactive help file. Simply right click on The Beat Cop and select "Help" to open it.

I am planning on making a tutorial video series soon.

Can I sell The Beat Cop?

No, The Beat Cop is released for free under the GNU GPLv3 license.

What if I build a controller designed for The Beat Cop and sell that?

You could do that, but the software would still have to be open source and released for free using the GNU GPLv3 license.

Please contact me if you actually plan on doing this.

Can I sell the music I make with The Beat Cop?

Yes, you own the rights to any music / sounds you create while using The Beat Cop.
